IMPORTANT UPDATE ON CAMP KINECTIONS – SUMMER 2025
Metrolinx has given us an unrealistic and disruptive timeline to vacate our current facility, leaving us in a challenging position as we work tirelessly to secure a new space. Unfortunately, due to these constraints, we do not have the capacity to offer Camp Kinections at 20 Glebe Road East alongside Camp CFCC this summer.
We recognize how important this program is for our Junior and Senior Kindergarten students, and we are actively searching for a temporary location that will allow us to continue providing the high-quality camp experience your children deserve. Finding the right space under these circumstances has been incredibly difficult, but rest assured, we are exhausting every option to make this happen.
As soon as we secure a location, we will notify all members by email and provide updates to those subscribed to our newsletter. While this situation is frustrating, our priority remains the same: to create an engaging, safe, and enriching summer camp experience for all of our students.
We appreciate your patience and support during this transition and will provide updates as soon as possible.
Thank you for standing with us as we navigate this unexpected challenge.
Don’t fall victim to the “summer slide.” Maximize your child’s learning all year long! Camp Kinections is an extension of our Early Learning Program at CFCC.
We designed the Kinections curriculum to develop children’s fine motor skills, expand their understanding of literacy and numeracy concepts, enhance their social skills, and maximize their health- and skill-related fitness.
We spend time inside the gym, priming the brain and making connections through movement, gymnastics-based fitness, music, and specific perceptual motor activities. Children then enter our sensory-rich classrooms to experience the curriculum hands-on. Our unique blend of movement and experience-based learning will enrich the foundation set at school. A perfect way for your child to enjoy summer learning!
Camp Kinections is suitable for children 4-5 years of age. Campers staying the full day must bring lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, and bottled water. Half-day campers must bring a snack and bottled water. We also advise full-day campers to pack a daily change of clothes, along with a hat, sunscreen and towel.
