EARLY LEARNING PROGRAM

Kinections is an early learning program that takes advantage of the known benefits of exercise on learning – enhanced academic performance, self-esteem, and classroom attentiveness.   Join us as we use movement to enhance learning.

Our half-day curriculum is designed to develop children’s fine motor skills, expand their understanding of literacy and numeracy concepts, enhance their social skills, and maximize their health- and skill-related fitness.   We jump-start the day with kinesthetic learning.  We spend an hour inside the gym priming the brain and making connections through movement, music, and specific perceptual motor activities.    Children then enter our sensory-rich classroom to experience the curriculum hands-on.    Our unique blend of movement and experience-based learning will set the foundation for success at school while ensuring happy, healthy children who embrace learning.  

We offer programs suitable for children 18 months to 6 years of age in the morning and afternoons.

We’re excited to share that our Kinections Early Learning Program will now operate out of our new Movement Education Campus—located at The Church of the Transfiguration, 111 Manor Road East—as we continue our transition toward a new permanent home.

Please note: We will no longer be operating at 9 Banigan Drive due to Metrolinx’s expropriation of our former facility.

Our LUNCH ‘N’ LEARN program allows students to bring their lunch with them to the centre, eat with their peers, and continue their play-based learning inside the classroom.    A perfect way for your child to continue their learning and prepare for a full day at school.  Please note that participation in our Lunch ‘N’ Learn program is reserved exclusively for students enrolled in either our morning or afternoon programs.

Our Lunch ‘N’ Learn program is currently on hold for Spring Term 2026 as we navigate scheduling and space availability during our transition. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back for the relaunch in July 2026 (Summer Term 2026).

Please note that our Summer Kinections Early Learning Program will operate out of Glebe Road United Church, located at 20 Glebe Road East.  This location provides an excellent environment for our summer activities and allows us to continue delivering the high-quality experience families expect.

We will resume operations at our Movement Education Campus at The Church of the Transfiguration (111 Manor Road East) in September 2026, where the Kinections Early Learning Program will continue throughout the academic year.
